I have terrible internet service. Really, it goes out every couple weeks and there are no other local options, so I just have to deal with it. Unfortunately, I'm a writer and I need constant access to my word processor, internet or no internet. Also unfortunately, I write on a Chromebook, which is cloud-based. That works great for keeping my computer fast and lightweight, but it stinks for working offline. I can't open my existing Google Docs if I'm not already connected, which means when the internet croaks, I can't go to work. What are my offline options?
